Ana dil eğitiminin çağın gerekliliklerine uygun bir şekilde zenginleştirilmesi, dilin işlevselliğini artırırken köklü tarihsel ve edebî birikimini korumayı da zorunlu kılmaktadır. Bu süreç, Türk dilinin tarih boyunca ortaya koyduğu zengin kaynak metinlerin eğitimde etkin bir şekilde kullanılmasıyla mümkün hâle gelmektedir. Türk dili, asırlar boyunca çeşitli coğrafyalarda farklı kültürlerle etkileşim içinde gelişmiş, böylece dilin derinliği ve zenginliği artmıştır. Bu bağlamda, Türkçe öğretiminde yalnızca güncel ihtiyaçlara odaklanmak yerine tarihsel metinler aracılığıyla dilin kültürel belleğinin ve estetik değerlerinin de aktarılması bir gerekliliktir. Bu çalışmada, Türk toplumunun dilinde ve kültüründe derin izler bırakan Süleyman Çelebi’nin Vesîletü'n-Necât adlı “Mevlit”inin Türkçe eğitimi açısından incelenmesi hedeflenmiştir. Mevlit, sadece dinî bir metin değil, Türk dilinin edebî ve kültürel zenginliğini yansıtan bir eser niteliği de taşımaktadır. Alan taraması sürecinde, bu kaynak metin niteliğindeki eserin Türkçe eğitimi bağlamında ele alınmasıyla ilgili mevcut kaynakların sınırlı olduğu tespit edilmiştir. 21.yüzyılın dijitalleşen dünyasında, Türkçe kaynak metinlerinin eğitim süreçlerine daha etkin bir şekilde dâhil edilmesi düşüncesiyle bu araştırmanın önemli bir boşluğu dolduracağı düşünülmüştür. Araştırmada, durum çalışması desenine dayalı olarak betimsel analiz yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma kapsamında toplam 29 katılımcı yer almıştır. Katılımcıların demografik dağılımı incelendiğinde, 17’sinin kadın, 12’sinin ise erkek öğretmenlerden oluştuğu görülmüştür. Araştırmada, katılımcılara “Mevlit”in dilsel ve kültürel yönlerine dair sorular yöneltilmiş, elde edilen veriler detaylı bir şekilde analiz edilmiştir. Elde edilen veriler incelendiğinde; “Mevlit”in tanımı, içeriği, hangi dilde yazılmış olduğu hakkında Türkçe öğretmenlerinin bilgilerinin yüksek düzeyde olduğu görülmüştür. Ancak hangi zamanda yazıldığı ve okunma durumu gibi özellikler de bilgilerinin düşük düzeyde olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Türkçe öğretmenleri, Mevlit eserinin dilinin sade olması ve Türk kültürü geleneği içerisinde önemli bir yere sahip olması dolayısıyla Türkçe eğitiminde kullanılabileceği konusunda genel bir görüş bildirmiştir.

The enrichment of mother tongue education in line with the requirements of the age is essential for increasing the functionality of the language while also preserving its deep historical and literary heritage. This process becomes possible through the effective use of the rich source texts produced by the Turkish language throughout its history in education. Over the centuries, the Turkish language has developed through interaction with various cultures across different regions, thus increasing the depth and richness of the language. In this context, it is necessary to convey not only the current needs of the language but also its cultural memory and aesthetic values through historical texts. This study aims to examine the Vesîletü'n-Necât (The Mevlit) by Süleyman Çelebi, which has left deep traces in the language and culture of Turkish society, from the perspective of Turkish language education. The Mevlit is not only a religious text but also a work that reflects the literary and cultural richness of the Turkish language. During the literature review process, it was found that there are limited sources related to the inclusion of this source text in the context of Turkish language education. Considering the idea of more effectively integrating Turkish source texts into education in the digital world of the 21st century, it is believed that this research will fill an important gap. The research uses a descriptive analysis method based on a case study design. A total of 29 participants were included in the study. When the demographic distribution of the participants was examined, it was found that 17 were female and 12 were male teachers. The participants were asked questions regarding the linguistic and cultural aspects of the Mevlit, and the obtained data were analyzed in detail. The data revealed that the Turkish language teachers had high levels of knowledge about the definition, content, and language in which the Mevlit was written. However, it was found that their knowledge was lower regarding aspects such as the time period in which it was written and its current reading status. Turkish language teachers generally agreed that the language of the Mevlit is simple and that, due to its significant place in Turkish cultural tradition, it could be used in Turkish language education.
